Areas of impact

The OEOP Fund is unrestricted support of the office. Your gift will be applied to the area of greatest need.
Individual program funds
Individual program funds support this fiscal year’s students. Your gift will enable us to serve more incredible students this year.
- MITES: This intense six-week program immerses rising high school seniors from across the country in life at MIT during the summer. Students take academically rigorous math, science and humanities courses. Outside of the classroom, they participate in admissions counseling sessions, lab tours and social events.
- E2@MIT: In this one-week summer program, rising high school seniors from across the country take one of six intensive project-based courses and participate in science and engineering workshops. The students also attend admissions counseling sessions, lab tours and social events.
- MOSTEC: From July through January, rising high school seniors from across the country discuss research, receive admissions and financial aid advice and attend webinars in an innovative online program. They also complete online science and engineering projects that they present during a five-day conference on MIT’s campus.
- SEED Academy: On Saturdays during the academic year, high school students from Boston, Cambridge and Lawrence public schools take hands-on courses that expose them to new areas of science and engineering. Students also attend seminars from college admissions and industry professionals.
